Douglas 2-15, Duhallow 0-10

A dominant second half performance allowed Douglas get the better of Duhallow in Round 3 to the Co. Premier U21HC at the Pairc Uí Rinn 4G.

At various stages, the divisional men reacted bravely to a number of bursts by the victors before a physically stronger Douglas made the pressure count on the changeover.  A fine piece of skill allowed  Niall Harnett give Douglas an early goal boost.

In fairness, Duhallow held their own, points from Ryan Walsh and Danny Buckley narrowed the arrears 1-6 to 0-7 at the break.  Wayward shooting impacted on Duhallow upon the restart as Douglas made possession count and a second Harnett goal confirmed a quarter final meeting against Sarsfields.
