Cork 1-16, Tipperary 1-14

Cork regained the BGE Munster U20HC after pulling clear of Tipperary in a tough encounter at a chilly Pairc Uí Chaoimh. The hosts finished well to allow team captain Conor O’Callaghan(Dromtariffe) accept the silverware.

Also featuring was Brian O’Sullivan(Kanturk) introduced as a second half substitute.

A late flourish saw Jack  Cahalane net a rebound from close range to forge Cork ahead by five points. And though Tipp grabbed a consolation goal, there was no denying Cork from collecting the accolades and progress to an All Ireland decider against Galway or Dublin on January 10.
