It’s a busy Saturday with Cork teams involved in two key championship tussles in Kilkenny and Limerick.

Cork take on Dublin in the delayed 2020 Bord Ghais Energy U20 Hurling Championship Final at Nowlan Park with a 7.15pm throw in.  Not since 1998 have Cork tasted victory in the u20/21 grade as they attempt to erase the memory of defeats in the past two deciders.

Cork look to Conor O’Callaghan from Dromtarriffe for guidance as team captain. Also included as substitute is Brian O’Sullivan of Kanturk.

Meanwhile Cork begin their journey in the Munster SFC on a semi final clash against Limerick at the LIT Gaelic Grounds with proceedings underway at 3pm.  Limerick enter the fray with a quarter final win  over Waterford, Cork determined to return to a provincial  final showpiece.

There is a key Duhallow involvement, on the starting side are Daniel O’Mahony (Knocknagree), Seán Meehan (Kiskeam) and Paul Walsh (Kanturk) with Kevin Crowley (Millstreet) and Eoghan McSweeney (Knocknagree) confirmed as substitutes.

Best of luck to both Cork teams!
