Duhallow 2-21, Carbery 2-20

A dramatic conclusion saw Seán Howard post  a match winning point for Duhallow to pip Carbery in a thrilling Co-op SuperStores Cork Premier SHC divisions/colleges section at Coachford.

The contest packed with entertainment as Carbey struck a late purple patch to erase a six point deficit to force parity. Extra time looked on the cards at least, Duhallow’s nerves getting a little frayed but in fairness, they kept their composure and closed out the game thanks to Howard’s strike in the third minute of injury time.

Key to Duhallow's game were the contributions of Michael O'Brien, Beircheart O'Connor, Jack Murphy and Howard along with substitutes Conor Murphy and Jack Curtin.

Duhallow now join Avondhu  and Carrigdhoun  in the semi-finals while Carbery take on Muskerry for the fourth semi-final spot in the divisional section.
